Kochi

Wayanad in Malabar highlands

A day to see the attractive countryside which is full of paddy and sugarcane farms. Rich architectural sites are scattered everywhere with the astonishingly carved Hoysala era temples at Belur and Halebid being the masterpieces.
Udupi

A scenic drive that involves crossing the Ghats once again. Architectural gems of Karkala and Moodbidri hidden in greenery. Fruit growing orchards on the way. Udupi is the place of extraordinary monastic style Krishna Temple which is forever abuzz with activities. The place is also famous for evolution of many delicious South Indian styled vegetarian foods and many dining places that still keep the gastronomical tradition alive.
Goa
