Beginning in Delhi (October 13, 2017),

The group will get organized together, given sufficient time to relax and get rested for the journey ahead. A comfortable train journey next morning (October 14) to Amritsar and an unforgettable evening in Golden temple. Be equal and be part of the community known as humanity by joining in daily chores & even participating in the massive public kitchen. Second day in Amritsar (October 15) gives more opportunities to spend time in Golden temple and busy bazaars around; with evening reserved for visiting ‘never seen anything like this’ beating - the - retreat ceremony at border check-post with Pakistan.

Next 2 days of transitional journey from green farms of Punjab to forgotten painted desert towns of Rajasthan marks stopping over at Harike wetlands (for birding) and a night stay in atmospheric Patiala city (October16) Patiala is associated with its princely past, huge fort-palace and generous servings of whiskey with sumptuous food. In and around Mukundgarh (October 17, 18, 19) you will be experiencing Shekhawati as someone who lives here- from pre-participations of Diwali festival with neighbors and local temples to making the haveli ready for the main Diwali festival. These will be three fun-filled days of community feel, cooking, gastronomy and party. An incredible road journey through Indian desert with brief stopovers at Taal Chhapar grasslands and marvelous Nagaur Fort will bring you to Jodhpur (October 20). Next day (October 21) will be utilized in seeing the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, cenotaphs, colorful bazaars and the city’s immense living heritage.

Final part of the tour (October 22, 23, 24) will take you right inside one of the grandest social spectacles – the Pushkar Fair. A full range of activities, entertainment, leisure and culinary experiences in Camp Bliss compliments the adventure outside in the fair ground. Your tour will end today (On October 25) with the check out from Camp Bliss at 11AM.
